![]() One thing of concern is that my living room is quite large, the floorspace being 6 x 6 metres and the ceiling height at 3.8 metres (12 foot). I have previously been looking at other bookshelf and floor-standing speakers but keep coming back to these. They also come with a free 30 day return. What with the current Covid-19 lockdown situation, it's hard to go and try out the KEFs however I'm pretty confident they will be worlds apart from what I currently have. I've had fleeting experiences with much more expensive kit and am aware that things can sound so much better. I've only ever heard my hi-fi setup through the Wharfedales. Obviously awards are subjective and to be taken with a pinch of salt but they do nonetheless make them that much more attractive. The KEFs and the CXA61 are glowingly lauded all over the internet both winners of the 2020 What Hi-Fi? awards in their respective categories. They match my budget perfectly with the speakers at £1000 and amp at £750. Here are the Pros that arrived me at these two products: I want something that will, for a bit more money, really blow me away (in detail, not decibels)! ![]() I have however been listening to music out-loud more recently and although it's been enjoyable, the current components are budget-range and know it can sound better.
